  • To ensure the completion and implementation of the Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation Strategy.

  • To promote and participate in the establishment and extension of Koala habitat on, both public and private land, throughout the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Regions.

  • To contribute to the promotion and protection of the indigenous flora and fauna of the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Regions.

  • To educate the community and to create awareness of the problems facing koalas and other wildlife in the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Regions, and to promote public participation in the solutions.

  • To work with appropriate government departments and other relevant bodies in the monitoring and management of koalas and their habitat in the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Regions. To liaise with other koala conservation groups, thereby participating in protection of koalas nationally.
